Couples Counseling in Florida
Even good relationships get stuck. Most couples arrive later than they meant to.
The work
Ordinary life puts real strain on a partnership — money, work, children, illness, and time. Underneath that, the harder things: resentment that's built up, trust that's been broken, intimacy that quietly went missing, or a version of arguing where you both know the script by heart.
Couples often come when the relationship feels at a standstill, or when one, or both of you are genuinely unsure whether it's worth continuing. Both are reasonable places to start from. Part of the work is deciding what you want, not just repairing what's broken.
What We Might Work On
- Communication that turns reactive
- Rebuilding trust after a betrayal
- Distance and disconnection
- Intimacy and desire
- Conflict that never resolves
- Parenting as a team
- Transitions you're facing together
- Whether to stay together
Families Too
Family conflict is one of the three things I see most often. The same work applies — particularly where children have been affected by conflict or divorce, and where the source of the tension is far easier to name with someone neutral in the room.
Couples sessions are the same fee as individual sessions: $120, or covered by most insurance.
If there is addiction, emotional, or sexual abuse, or severe depression in the relationship, please reach out right away — for your safety and your partner's.
